Loofah Bellah My pet rabbit, Loofah Bellah, had an annoying habit. Every day she would push all the hay out of her bed, through the cage wires, and onto my carpeted floor. Each morning I would return the hay to her bed and vacuum the carpet around her cage. After a month of this, I asked Denise to talk to Loofah. Denise told me that the rabbit “showed” her a picture of “prickly straw” and gave her the impression that it was not comfortable. Upon Denise’s suggestion, I removed all the hay from Loofah’s bed replacing it with shredded newspaper. Loofah seems much happier as she has never pushed the newspaper out of her bed, instead she is often found fluffing it up! I am quite pleased because I no longer have to vacuum her mess daily. Thank you, Denise, for helping me to understand and correct my rabbit’s undesirable behavior. -Katherine Y., Asheville, NC Bogie and Sophie I had a cat for 15 years, but unfortunately, last year Bogie developed cancer and passed away. I missed him terribly because he was my companion for so long. He had such a warm and friendly personality. He would let anyone pick him up and cuddle with him. He used to wait for me at the door when I came home. Bogie and I developed a routine. Every night at 10:00, I would settle on the sofa to relax with a cup of tea. Bogie would always join me on the sofa. It was our quiet time together. I would pet him, and he would knead my chest or belly and purr. Sometimes he would be so happy, he would drool! After Bogie passed away, I found that at 10:00 on the sofa, I would cry. I missed him so much. About two weeks later, I couldn't stand it anymore, so I got a kitten. It was a Himalayan, named Sophie. He turned out to be very shy, would only let me pet him occasionally and was very skittish. After a few months he was somewhat friendlier, but I could not get him to sit with me on the sofa. Denise came to visit and she met the new kitten. I explained how sad I was to not have my sofa buddy at 10:00 every night. Denise had known Bogie and had stayed with me in the past and knew how much I missed my pet. So she decided to talk to Bogie in heaven for me. Denise explained to Bogie how much I missed him and that Sophie would not be a replacement, but it would make me happy to have him cuddle up with me. She asked Bogie to speak with Sophie for me and to tell him how important this was to me. The next night, 10:00 came around again. I had my tea, my blanket, but no cat. I was still feeling so sad. But a few minutes later, Sophie approached the sofa, looked up at me with his big blue eyes, hesitated for a few moments, and then jumped on my lamp. I was so surprised and happy. My eyes welled up and tears came down my face. I knew Bogie listened and sent me his love from heaven. Every night now, Sophie joins me on the sofa. He still is a bit shy, but sure enough he always spends time with me cuddling on the sofa. Denise has a real gift to communicate with the spirits of the animals. She has made such a difference for me and I find peace at the end of the day. It is truly a gift to be shared. Sincerely, Juana K., Coral Springs, FL Alika and Chloe Due to housing circumstances, my three year old male cat, Alika, had to stay with a friend when I moved. I was very upset to leave him behind, but I was only able to take my 13 year old dog, Lea with me. Alika was an outdoor, country cat, enjoying being out in nature and being independent. By the time I was finally able to re-introduce him into my home and family, I had also taken in a homeless kitten. I hoped we could all be a happy family. To my horror, I saw and experienced aggression in all the animals. A friend suggested that I contact Denise so that she could help change these behaviors. I was totally surprised and delighted to see huge (positive) behavior changes within an hour or two of Denise's "conversation" with my animals. At Denise's suggestion, Alika has taken over the role of protector and teacher for Chloe, rather than threatening her. Our lives are back to normal now - we spend time relaxing with each other every day, instead of fighting and being wary of one another. K. Wheeler, Asheville, NC Pico and Max I needed to bring a full grown, newly adopted cat into my home where a small Pomeranian had enjoyed exclusive domain for 7 years. I was concerned about their original meeting especially since the cat (also 7 years old) had never seen a dog before, ever. I contacted Denise and she did some communication with both animals. Her feedback to me was that it would be safe and fairly non-eventful to have the cat placed in my home before bringing the dog in from my friend's house, and that if I spoke lovingly to each of them in advance, they would have no problem with one another. It occurred as Denise had predicted and helped to formulate. I carried my little Pomeranian into the house - he saw the cat and for about 10 seconds there was a low, guttural growl from him. I told him to stop, and that it was safe and okay - and that was the one and only growl he has ever emitted towards the cat. From that moment on, they allow one another equal domain. I knew Denise was highly effective in her communication with animals because prior to this, I had referred my daughter to her, whose Pit Bull was having panic attacks and Denise immediately intervened to assist and expedite the healing process for him. I would refer Denise without reservation to anyone seeking animal interventions for any reason. Judy Lynn Ray, Hendersonville, NC Queenie gets lost - and found One Friday afternoon, I lost my little Queenie - my sweet 3.5 lb Chihuahua friend, just 2 years old and possibly pregnant - at our local car wash. I was only gone five minutes. I had immediately returned and heard that a "nice" lady had picked her up. Of course, I thought that surely she would come back looking for me so I stood around for about three hours, hoping. I soon found that was not the case. I began putting signs up all over town including in the newspaper, on the radio, internet, etc. Sometime Saturday, I was speaking with a veterinarian assistant and she mentioned Denise…later on, a dog groomer also mentioned Denise. I am usually NOT a believer in psychic phenomena or anything of that nature, but I am a believer in signs. I gave Miss Denise a call and she was so kind to speak with me at length. We later got back together by way of phone and she had more to tell me…She assured me Queenie was fine but was with a very "flighty" woman who was emotionally distressed and either cared for by a man who was gone a lot or who was emotionally distant. Denise felt great despair there…She tried to get Queenie to tell the woman to go to Ingles [local grocer], whereupon she would see my signs. She also said that Queenie was upset that our other dog, our Husky, was sad [about Queenie's being lost] and hungry…This was correct, we had not fed him yet that day. Denise also mentioned someone named George, but I still do not know the connection there - maybe someday I will find out. [An anonymous male called to give the address where the dog was staying.] The day we got the anonymous call, I had been standing on the side of the road where we lost her, for six hours, with signs all over our van. The main thing that I received from our conversation was a deep understanding between Queenie and Denise and a new hope and calming given to both Queenie and myself. I believe we spoke three days into the ordeal and I had started to lose hope. Knowing that Queenie missed me and I knew I was seeking her, gave me the umph I needed to continue on. I appreciate Denise helping us through a very, very difficult time. We were able to get Queenie back six days later, with the assistance of local law enforcement and an anonymous caller. The special things that Denise said concerning Queenie, especially about how Queenie was going into a deep sleep mode, (she gets seizures if her sugar level goes down) coincided with what the woman told me. I know by things said that she did go shopping and saw the signs on the way as well as the anonymous caller picked this up too. The woman indeed was emotionally unstable and 'flighty" and did not want to give my dog back, due to her own trauma as of late and distant husband. This caused the necessity to call upon law enforcement. Denise was right on the money in so many ways which would take a book to write…Suffice it to say I appreciate Denise and how she helped us and even though I usually do not believe in such things, feel that Denise definitely is in tune with animals. The main thing that I received from the experience was the understanding that Queenie wanted me to find her, was confused as to where she was, and then Denise helped her to calm down and wait for me. I pray that maybe we all can be this in tune with our dear little friends. I know that prior to this experience I did not try to listen to my little friends but will definitely listen harder now. Thank you Miss Denise and blessings to you. (Name and address witheld, due to the unusual legal circumstances) |
Testimonials from Clients |
The human-animal bond is often a wonderful thing to see. Our animal friends comfort us and stick by us in good times and during challenging periods, as well. They never judge us and seem to appreciate whatever we can offer them. Here are some stories from human clients who show their love, concern and gratitude. They have asked me to work with the animal members of their families, with the intent of trying to better understand the behaviors or situations of their animal companions. |
