Animal Whispering - When People Call for Help
by Denise Anthes

Alika & Chloe were hissing and fighting...
Queenie had jumped out of the car and gotten
lost...
Emma had started snapping at people...Juana wanted her new cat to cuddle up in her
lap, like his long-lived predecessor had done.

People contact animal communicators for a variety of reasons. I have found that they
generally can fit into four categories:

Animal communicators can act as objective "translators".
Humans and animals speak different languages. Animals "read" body language signals,
which are subtle, yet key social clues in their daily life. They also send messages through
pictures or impressions of ideas. Many of them also learn the language of their human
friends - whatever the dialect and jargon may be. Animal communicators, in their role as
translators, can help to gather information from animals and conversely, communicate
human ideas clearly to our animal companions.

Animal Communicators act as mediators in human-animal relationships.
Each animal has it's own personality, free will and life-experiences. These three things set
the foundation for how animals react in situations. There may also be independent issues
within the current family setting that create a chain reaction leading to either peace and
harmony or friction and unrest. Often behaviors escalate in response to stress. Changes in
the family environment - fighting, divorce, a health crisis (human or animal), death, new
baby, new animals - can trigger "bad" behaviors. Any behavior that creates unsafe
situations is unacceptable. Mediation can often cause sudden or chronic behaviors to
STOP very quickly.

Animal Communicators can help when animals are "lost".
When an animal becomes lost, it is often a time filled with complex emotions for both the
humans and animals. The whirlwind of emotions - guilt, sorrow, worry, regrets, "what if…"
negative thinking, - can confuse, depress and upset all involved. It also often inhibits clear
thinking and the animal's ability to return home. An animal communicator can help to
establish a clear, calm communications link. Often, concrete information can be accessed,
which helps to return animals home or determine if they are no longer alive.

Animal Communicators can help you find closure and comfort after animal friends have
passed over to the non-physical world.
Many people who have lived with beloved animals have mixed emotions after they pass on.
Questions include, "Did I keep my old or sick animal live too long?" Other people question
their decision to ease death with euthanasia. By connecting with animals who are in spirit,
we can determine their viewpoint on these issues. It presents an opportunity to honor the
loved animal, and gain information that supports the mutual bond of love. This often brings
comfort and closure for the humans.

All these reasons for communication have a common goal: to enhance the animal-human
bond by increasing respect, understanding and harmony within the mixed-species family.
How wonderful!
